Travel and Tourism International

My experience at TAFE as an International student has been very positive. I enjoyed my studies in Travel & Tourism, learning more about the tourism industry, where I had very little previous experience. Teachers were very knowledgeable and supportive, guiding me throughout the course and helpful with getting my first foot into this new career.

Through familiarisation trips and work experience I learnt more about Cairns and the Wet Tropics Region, which has helped me greatly in settling down into a new environment and country. Classes are usually a good mix of international and local students, which helped me with meeting people and making new friends.
