Make a difference in people’s lives with an exciting career in the fitness industry. Learn the science of exercise, proper use and maintenance of exercise equipment, and how to develop and roll out fitness programs for the general population as well as people with special health requirements. You’ll study anatomy, physiology, exercise science, nutrition, and how to perform health and fitness screening and fitness appraisals. You’ll also gain generic work skills such as communication, client service, risk analysis, and sports first aid. I've always been interested in fitness training and travelling. I spoke to a former TAFE Queensland student who loved her time here and I thought, ‘it’s the place to be!’ The campus is in a really good location. After travelling throughout Australia Wah decided to settle in what he considers Australia’s most liveable city, Brisbane. After pursuing his love of hospitality at TAFE Queensland he plans on returning to Bali to run his own café and share the knowledge he’s learnt with others.
